How I think. How I lead.
How I make decisions, what I expect from teams, and the questions I bring into the room when the business needs to change.
- 01
Systems over heroics.
Growth shouldn't depend on one person remembering the next step. Good systems make the right thing happen consistently, no matter who owns the work.
- 02
Make it easy to buy.
Customers reward the company that's easiest to buy from. Complexity is a tax the business keeps paying until someone removes it.
- 03
Build capabilities that outlast the builder.
The goal is a business that is stronger than I found it — with capabilities the team can own and improve as it grows.
The answers usually reveal where the next commercial decision needs to be made — and where the business is leaving leverage on the table.
- 01What would have to be true for us to grow significantly faster without simply adding more people?
- 02What does each function understand about the business that the rest of the organization may be missing?
- 03Where are we creating complexity internally that the customer never asked for?
- 04What are we assuming about our customers, market, or business model that may no longer be true?
- 05If we could remove one recurring source of friction from the customer or commercial journey, where would the economics change most?
- 06What are our best people spending time on today that someone — or something — could handle instead?
The goal isn’t to become indispensable. It’s to make the business more capable — and provide the level of leadership the business needs as it grows.
